Eagle Point Software Launches CPD Accredited Online Learning with Pinnacle Series in Partnership with Symetri
Eagle Point Software announces the introduction of CPD Accredited Online Learning through Pinnacle Series.
Since September 2018 when Cadassist was acquired by Symetri (part of the Addnode Group) an Autodesk Platinum Partner, we have operated side-by-side. The time has come for the two organisations to operate as one trading entity, further strengthening our position as Northern Europe’s leading Autodesk Platinum VAR.

Autodesk launched a new transaction process to customers who purchase subscriptions in Australia in November 2023. Following a successful trial, they have announced a go-live date of 10th June 2024 for the US & Canada. No timeline has been shared for other geographies, but Autodesk does intend to roll the new process out globally over the next 2 years.
In the new process, Symetri are still involved in all phases of the pre-and post-sales experience except for the actual order and payment transaction, which happens directly between the customer and Autodesk as it does with Flex today. Symetri will still have responsibility for all post-sales activities such as onboarding, training and support. The process for buying other third-party software, Symetri Tech, or our own services remains unchanged.
There is no action to take for our UK and European customers at this time, but we will share more insights and valuable resources to help you prepare and master the new process once Autodesk announces a go live dates for the other regions.
